Wild at the Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival

It truly was a honour to be part of the conservation and education crew as an artist at the Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival Market. I was one of a few artists and artisans who focus on ocean, environment and use our skills for good. I was proud to be part of this key event in Sydney last week, that was all about marine conservation. This key annual event (20-24 March 2024 at Bondi Beach this year), is a much needed focus and celebration on ocean matters, and the numerous forums, exhibitions and events were so well attended through the week....

Community events - Lane Cove Rotary

I'm delighted to have been invited by Lane Cove Rotary Club to participate in the annual Rotary Fair and Sustainability festival in Lane Cove on 8 October. We are all doing a little dance of hope that the weather will be perfect for our event, which was rained out last year. Here's to patience and waiting 12 months to come together again. I'll focus on Pollen Nation and Save Our Bees, and I will also have free activity sheets on marine animals for the kids! It'll be a buzzy day - save the date and join us for some fun!...
Studying giant cuttlefish and illustration workshops in Whyalla 24 June - 6 July 2023

The Giant Cuttlefish are breeding in massive numbers off the coast of Whyalla in South Australia. It's a spectacle and my plans to study them while volunteering with Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries - EMS in 2021 was shut down by Covid. Track forward: I'll be heading to Whyalla this year to spend two weeks immersed in all things CUTTLE-ISH, volunteering at CuttleFest for the first week and invited to teach my unique education for the second week.
