Creativity and learning - Colouring-in competition at Seaside Scavenge.

Balmoral Seaside Scavenge was my first opportunity to be a SPONSOR and volunteer at a community event, and to work with a community organisation. I was thrilled to have so many young artists, and their parents enthusiastically about learning, colouring and creating their own art and learning about Sandra the Seahorse.  Kids (and some adults too) coloured-in, learned helpful facts about seahorses at Clifton Gardens in Mosman. By engaging kids in education, we were also able to share with them crucial information about concerns with rubbish and fishing at one of their much loved local reserves.  It was difficult to...

International Women's Day Dive event in Jervis Bay

Happy International Women's Day 2021. What an inspiring day, to spend it with women of all ages doing the thing we love - scuba diving.  I was honoured to be invited as the special guest today and introduce these of all ages and levels of diving to the Facebook group, Women of Water - Diving and Marine Conservation in Sydney. Despite forecasts of dire swell and conditions- it was near perfect and 15 m vis at The Nursery and The Wall.  How refreshing and peaceful diving with 25 women.
